We are not currently accepting new volunteers for the 2020 season!
- As a volunteer at the Killman Zoo, you can be apart of a unique experience in many aspects of the zoo life – outreach, operations, care, special events, and promotions.
- Volunteers are accepted year-round but most orientations are held in the later fall.
- All volunteers must be over 18 years of age, and capable of physical labor.
- The Killman Zoo also offers a full-time co-op program for high school students. Participants will learn many aspects of animal care and grounds maintenance.
- Daily jobs will include animal food prep, cage building and cleaning, enrichment care, as well as zoo-grounds landscaping. Students will work alongside the keepers as well as independently.
